Trailer Technician

Full time; Monday-Friday, 3 p.m.-11:30 p.m.

Job overview: 

  • Perform routine repairs on company trailers as a Trailer Technician in Tyler. 
  • Handle annual inspections and preventative maintenance.  
  • Complete troubleshooting and component replacements. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Diagnose and repair minor trailer electrical systems. 
  • Complete routine rebuilds and replacements. 
  • Communicate status updates with internal customers. 
  • Use computer systems to accurately track repair times, parts used and work completed. 

Skills and qualifications:  

  • Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems. 
  • A minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.  
  • Basic welding skills preferred.   
  • Experience with computer systems. 
  • Vehicle and Brake Inspector Certified. 
  • Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
